What is the most ridiculous conspiracy theory you've ever read/heard?

I found this one earlier today.

My boyfriend's mother is preparing to leave the house... every time she moves, she... crinkles. Like she's wearing something papery or plastic-y under her clothing. I know for a fact she doesn't wear adult diapers, and the sound appears to be coming from under her shirt.

WHAT IS IT??

The backstory: My sister was on the back porch smoking her after dinner cigarette and I was in the kitchen setting up things for dessert. I give money to a cancer research charity. they perform research in to cancer. They write papers.
BigPharm Plc. reads the paper, develops a treatment, sells me the treatment(or not depending on my healthcare situation).
BigPharm Plc gets rich while I pay for their research and their drugs.
